Today i went for my school's basketball trial and the turn out was great. Almost a hundred turn up for it. Was still fill of hope before they even started the trial. Half way through it I was so pissed by the way they choose the players. It totally don't make sense to me. How can you choose players by getting them to do right hand and left hand lay-ups?!?! If you're telling me the coach chose them then I have nothing to say about it but it's the team captain and some other players choosing the players. What The Fuck!! I got all the lay-ups done without even missing a single shot and they chosen people who missed 1 to 2 baskets out of 3 tries!!! So what if they are able to hit the board during lay-ups, they are not consistant... I seriously felt it unfair to the rest of the people who turned up for the trial and wasn't able to show what they have got in them. Out of the hundred odd, you're picking out only 20 people by the way they do lay-ups!!! This ain't a proper trial!!! This just shows that the team only choose people who have contact with them. I'm really pissed off by the way they're doing the trial, found it to be a bucket of bullshit.
Today was an extremely short day for me and I saw a lots of my friends in school today. It's been a very long time since I saw Melvin, class rep for last
semester, and not forgetting my care person, Mr Daniel Tan.
lol... Heard from my
CP that he has been attached to the new training facility in school as an instructor.
It's
CCA orientation day too. Went to have a look at all the booths and was actually shock that all the
CCA that i have sign up for have the same trail date - which is this sat morning to afternoon. Come to think of it, I only have interest in joining basketball, dance(modern & hip hop) and
floor ball. Really hope that i could get into basketball, was dreaming of getting into a proper team and training since I learn about basketball from my friends and
sensei - Basketballs for dummies.
Lmao... (Don't laugh at me, I'm watching you...)
Not forgetting about me feeling hype up about going to the near by basketball court to have a game or two. One court was used as a funeral holding area... Next court doesn't have rims... Lastly, the third court is having a official match between
Paya Lebar Kovan CSC and
Tampines West
CSC. Was thinking of going over to Ave 5 to play but wasn't sure about it, so I ended up sitting down to watch the match. During the third quarter, I was so pissed off by one of the referee. The home team should have been called for "3 secs violation" for a dozen times but he failed to call. It turns out that the home team won by bias judgement from the referee. I was so angry that I purposely walk pass him and said out loud "bias".

Week Zero 2008
Just had a nice cold shower after reaching home.
Week Zero Camp will be an unforgettable & impressive camp.
Everyone from very departments have their differences & everyone put in all they had together, hand in hand & raise to the occasion in winning the regatta for Engineering School.
It was a sad ending where as Engineering School didn't won any trophies But we have earn something more precious than the trophies, friendships & experience.
I can said that everyone from the main committee, sub-committee, mentors & even the freshmen feel the pain & the agony for losing. But I'm not sad because I know that my school, Engineering School has put on a tough fight till the end.
Yesterday, was the last day for all ESC EXCO AY07/08.
I saw the video done by Eric once again because Wen Long haven't had the chance to view it till yesterday.
Everyone of us was there watching it. We stood side by side while viewing it.
Belvin, Sharon, Hui Zhen, De Ming, Eric, June & Wen Long cried.
I totally understand how they felt but i just can't cry out even when i feel like to as it's really a privilege to work & learn from these people who had tons & tons of experiences from camps. And more than half of the members are graduating.
I would really, really like to thank them for their help & guidance throughout the remaining AY even though I joined in for half the AY.
Thank you, everyone.
